fellow christians. Do you believe that america is the fall of babylon in revelations?
……..I`m starting to believe this now. A-were turning into an agnostic country with no morals. B-homosexuality is rampant and now protected here now. C- Commerce and trade is king here and dominant when it comes to the world scene, if the US was gone there would be no more wealth in the other countries because of our import export balance of economic stabilities. D-Women do not protect the unborn. E-Materialism is rampant and must come first before God and anything good and decent. F-Women have stopped being moral leaders like they use to and now are indulging in self pleasures like any pig headed man would. G-Men have lost the normal ideology of what it is to be a true man and raise a family, and this different group of lost souls coming in are just having sex, leaving women pregnant and going out and committing crimes while on drugs to add insult to injury.H- And of course what the bible says,,Men will become lovers of themselves, arrogant, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather lovers of God.
Note: I am patriotic, and believe this country was good, however this last election scared me as the old pagan ideology that is resurfacing from the time of old 3000 years ago.
Good point, I thought it was about rome specifically, however, where is america in the bible?

Revelation was supposed to be about Rome.
It was not far off either considered the Crisis of the 3rd Century.

America, coming from a non-American, has always been a place like that, honestly…

As an educated Christian, homosexuality is common in nature and practiced BY ALL MAMMALS, this is a fact. Capitalism, as a fact, has helped more people than any other system, and as far a woman go, they have the right to get rid of something that doesn’t even have a mindstream yet. It is a fetus not a baby. Sure she is destroying the POTENTIAL for a baby but it is still HER CHOICE.

If you mean Babylon the Great in Revelations, Babylon the Great is the world empire of false religion which includes Christendom. There are only three world empires, the kingdoms of the earth, government. The merchants of the world, the commercial empire. And the false relgious empire. Since the merchants and kings of the earth morn Babylon the Great and the Scriptures say she is full of spiritistic practices, that makes Babylon the Great, religious. And since God won’t destroy his true followers, never has, then it has to be false religion.

history tells us that empires come and go.
i a certain sense the usa is an empire too. it has risen out of nothing and – i really believe this -
is over the top now and the decline has begun.

Absolutely not ! What you describe, attests to the fact that ANY nation, which subjugates it self to secularism opposed to God, ultimately experiences the consequences of their choices. America is no more sinful than Canada, U.K., Australia, Russia, China, Iran, France, etc. People are people and when they are given over to secularism, history proves, that they go into demise, as a nation(s).
It took the Roman Empire centuries to fall into demise and eventual decline. No one can say for certain that the Bible is singling out America.

The Jehovahs Witnesses have an explanation for it. They say that it is all of false religion and have a book to explain it. Apparently it cross references the rest of the Bible to get a conclusion.
