i was a little girl when my mom married my stepfather by the time i was 7 yrs old he had molested me as had my maternal grandfather,, my two uncles and my brother in law and teen cousin. my two neighbors-a father and a son also toke turns tormenting me on my way to school. by the time i was 8 i had been raped at least 7 times and molested- well i lost count- and could hardly sit still in school with all the genital swelling. this continued until i was at least 13 when i started to actually talk because the trauma left me unable to. my mom was always asking the family to babysit us as she worked 70 hrs a week to support (no welfare here) me (the youngest),my 2 sisters and a brother-(biological father abandoned mom for other woman and then abandoned that one for another and so on). that is how the molesters got access to all of us as children posing as good babysitters. my siblings where also molested or raped because i remember seeing men at their bedside at night, as mom lay exhausted asleep. i never told because they said i would be given away and abandoned and i believed them. 8 years ago my stepfather was caught molesting my sisters daughter when she had was 9 yrs old and he pleaded guilty and did 8 years IN JAIL and when he came out to all our astonishment my mom reunited with him and are currently living together again. i asked her why and she replied that god asks us to forgive one another. my entire family/siblings are crushed and have stopped visiting my mom as often as not to have to see their rapist again and again. i have tolerated this for over 6 years now. i have finally spoken to my mom today in a blow-up and that is why i came over, i am very upset because i do not want to loose my mother but cant understand why my mom chooses to keep this scum around. neither can i.
FRIENDS: i would like to console this new friend but i am only one, what would any of you say to her? she is actually feeling guilty for speaking up for herself finally. i am just shocked after hearing this story and she says there is more so much more to tell. i am going to show her your comments tomorrow when she is more calm to help her think and feel better. thanks to all you good samaritans out there tonight, god bless.
my friend has seen counselors for the past 5 years and all they give is meds, the pastors dont help and the law time frame has expired. she did confront two of the still living molesters and they did not apologize nor even acknowledge they did anything wrong. one even laughed a speed away the other blamed her for "bringing it upon herself." her main concern is the fact that her turmoil is being altered by her mothers continued relationship with this man. and that she does not get any emotional support from her other siblings nor extended family. she has two grown girls and only her own daughters see and understand her distress. what to do???

What alot you have gone through.. You will definitely be in my deepest prayers. Im just so shocked this has happened. I can tell you are a very very strong person. Because allot of woman that have been through this type of trauma do not get over it and keep it bottled inside them for allot of there life. But obviously you are still struggling with this experience which is understandable i would be too. Im very proud that you opened up to your friend about your past instead of dealing with things the wrong way. Im not no councilor and im not shore i offer good advice but you are defiantly on the right track.
Im sorry to hear that your mother is seeing that unforgivable bastard again yes it says to forgive but not to that extend where you get back with the man i mean its just making me sick to my stomach.
Maybe hold off from seeing your mother for a decent amount of time to help her realize that what she is doing is completely wrong wrong wrong.
I reckon an amazing woman like your self deserves to be spoiled uncontrollably!

Pray for her now, abuse is a horrible circle, it knows no boundaries,not money, color, sex, nothing there is nothing that man does that has not been done millions of time and will be repeated thru out the history of mankind. This young lady needs much professional help, no answer I can even begin to offer, other than find professional help right away, any telephone book can give you numbers on the inside front cover, call a pastor, call your mother, dont wait another minute to begin, there are numbers with people available at all hours and the longer you wait the longer the chance is that nothing will be done. there is no expiration on a child molesting case, go to yuor sherriffs dept, or call the fbi to report this situation, i would very strongly suggest she find another church! go online and search for support groups for molested children, see if you can find a (celebrate recovery group) near you, you will find help there i promise you that.
